WHO WE ARE
ANJAN MUKHERJEE (Founder and Principal) is a seasoned communications, research, and messaging strategist who has advised Democratic and progressive campaigns and causes for fifteen years.
Anjan leads a dynamic and diverse team that has played an integral role in developing and executing strategic goals for candidates and campaigns, nonprofits, advocacy groups, and other organizations. Previously, he served in senior leadership positions with the DCCC’s independent expenditure, Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s 2020 presidential campaign, and the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee.
Outside of work, Anjan is an avid musician who picked up his first instrument at age 9 and never looked back. Anjan composed original music for the DLCC’s podcast, Stated, featuring prominent Democrats, including members of Congress, party leaders, and local elected officials, talking about the importance of state legislatures. He is also a longtime percussionist with the Capital City Symphony, a community orchestra that performs in Washington, DC.
JOSE SOTO (Vice President) is a research and messaging consultant with nearly a decade of experience consulting political campaigns, advocacy groups, and other organizations on crafting meaningful authentic narratives rooted in thorough pragmatic research.
Most recently, he was Research Director for Facts First USA, an organization committed to fighting back against weaponized government oversight to settle partisan scores by shining a spotlight on bad actors. e was formerly the Research Director for Colorado Governor Jared Polis’s re-election campaign and has worked for campaigns on all levels of the ballot in states all across the country.
Jose cut his teeth working for presidential campaigns, and opposition research groups like American Bridge, but in his downtime can be found trying to find other uses for his collegiate debate experience. He is also a published writer and his work can be found on Button Poetry, FreezeRay, and Write About Now.
